"Film is an old whore who knows how to give pleasure on many levels", Federico Fellini I started this group as, in common with lots of people, I love film and the cinema. As not everyone has a regular cinema partner, it seemed an idea to try and draw like-minded people together and create the West Surrey Cinema Meetup Group. While the watching of a movie can be a fairly solitary experience, the social aspects of the expectation and aftermath make it ideal for group activity I'll try to go the ex …
Welcome to the meetup group for Brighton Spiritual Cinema Meetup! There are many wonderful movies that have an inspirational, empowering, or spiritual theme that never make it into mainstream cinema, so here is a chance for you to spend a chilled out evening with some like-minded people, in a comfortable setting (hot mug of tea in hand!), to enjoy and discuss movies with a spiritual theme. Spiritual cinema may address questions like: Why are we here? Who are we? What could we b …
Hello! I have just moved to Arundel, where I know only my brother and one of his friends! So I am looking to make friends with other people, whatever your age or interests. There seems to be lots of groups on here for Chichester, Worthing and Brighton but there isn't one for Arundel. :-( Let's get together for drinks, cinema, walking, going for coffee, shopping, picnics by the river in summer, outings to other towns and cities, pub lunches, restaurant meals, exercise classes. I'm open to suggest …
Hi! “Chichester Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” is a new exciting group for women in their 20s and 30s who live or work in and around Chichester. I have decided to start this group as I’m learning that it can be hard to make friends when you’re new to the area and thought that there must be others in the same boat! The aim of the group is to bring together like minded girls who want to have fun whilst meeting new people in a warm friendly atmosphere. There will be a variety meetups including coff …

Hi, this group started in January 2011 to give people around the Camberley and Frimley area a chance to get together on a regular basis to do those things that are not particularly enjoyable on one's own. Since then we've been bowling, to the movies, comedy clubs, pub quizzes, stock car racing, had events with our kids (those of us that have them), and had many good nights out having meals and drinks! We have a regular event at a local pub on the first Tuesday of every month, perfect for new mem …
… The purpose of this group is to go to the movies, old & new, big screen and small, and have a little chat after over drinks or food. Thereby meeting new people while getting to enjoy a fantastic time out at the cinema! Anyone who likes movies is welcome to join! The idea will be to start with one outing a month, have a place to vote on the movie, and if there is enough interest maybe ramp things up from there. Suggestions and feedback are more than welcomed they are encouraged! I am excit …
Who are we and what do we do? We're a broad mix of people with a love of fun and the countryside. The group currently has members aged 20 to 40+ from all over Surrey, Hampshire, and Royal Berkshire. We organise activities just about every weekend, and often during the week as well. Indoors we visit restaurants, go to films and the theat …
