I am a film scholar, and I am organizing a series of screening every Friday evening at the San Francisco Italian Cultural Institute. … If you're working on writing a script or screenplay and want to test it out for a table read, please join our group as well. The only thing I ask is that everyone takes it seriously. Its only fun if everyone is treating it with the same respect. Once we get a few members on board, we can start setting up some get togethers. This idea is still just coming together. I can't understand why this type of group doesn't already exist. Who knows?  Maybe we'll eventually end up performing for others!
