The Film Society is a group based in Farmington Hills in Oakland County that is dedicated to the experience and discussion of films on the big screen. We have a broad appreciation for films and we like to see indie films or midnight movie classics at main art in downtown royal oak. We also enjoy the social experience of meeting people and discuss films. This is a group for people who want company for films showing in A2. These films often have an independent leaning. A trip afterwards to a pub, eatery or coffee house is a great way to discuss the film and meet fellow film admirers. Screenings are generally at the Michigan and State Theaters.
